After coming back to KL, it felt so different. Not that I do not recognise the roads of Kuala Lumpur but due to the rushing adrenaline of meeting my assignments' deadline that I feel so 'empty' and being idle seems impossible for me to be in right now. The status seems not fitting right.
Gladly my sister signed me up for a trip to Kluang with the bunch of friends that I grew up with. We set off in the morning and upon arriving there, we had our first taste of Kluang cafe (coffee shop). It really reminds me of my grandma taking me to the market and had black coffee, feeding me with some food. The classic set up was really cool and nice that I enjoy just being there. At least something new is being seen.
Then, we got ourselves tickets to the movie '2012' which was a good movie in fact. I enjoyed watching it because of the effects used and besides it's something I've been looking forward to watch. The storyline plot was related to every scene shown in the theatre so I find it really interesting especially when it is shown in widescreen. It was an epic movie!
After that, we got to eat beef noodles specially made. It's been a while since I had delicious food... M'sia food will always taste good. We all ordered the house specialty which is dry beef noodle and I really got more than I bargained. I'd even ordered the second bowl. It was that good.
On the second day, we visited the one Kluang's church youth and joined their service. We blessed them with the 'Cheras' spirit and they bless us back with their hospitality. Really enjoyed the time we had with them. That evening, we even visited the children shelter. It's not an orphanage home but a home for abused children. I held back myself after learning their common family background and believe that we would be bringing joy to the children. I pretended to be the Taiwan artist 'Jay Chou' we had alot of fun that night. Wish that I could do better.
On Sunday, as usual we would go visit the church. I met my senior back again and we talked updating each other's life. Then, we head for branch. We head towards another beef noodle shop 'Tangkak Beef'. We all ordered the beef noodle soup which was delicious as well. Do not need to exaggerate the taste of it. It was that good, and I recommend that beef noodle soup was the best so far since I came back from S'pore.
Ever since, I came back from S'pore this trip had been re-orientating my mentality. Change is something I always look forward for. This is my time of refreshing. Hope I'll be back with different perspective of life.

Wow... oh my goodness. It's been such a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong time since I last updated my blog. So sorry people... my bad. My bad. And so... here's my life.
Since the last time I updated my blog it was about E.P.K. - Electronic Press Kit and Web Design. I did well in both subjects. EPK was really a stressful moment... I had to be awake for 24hours 3 days straight. The following day, I snored in school. So embarassing but yea, I did. My EPK was about the dance crew in S'pore, Styles From Beyond. They're quite cool and really good in what they were doing. They specialized in hip hop and breakdancing so it was really a good experience for me to capture the fascinating choreograph of hip hop and break dancing at the same time. It's was quite a tough task being a D.O.P. in the group because the cameraworks were still new and fresh but after much much much practices I did fairly well with the JVC semi-pro HD camera. The whole experience made me see things differently like how photographers get their shots right at the moment. I'm still learning and admit that I am still new in this field. This is way out of my league but I'm gonna try harder.
Other than that, I did learn softwares like Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Pro. Both were awesome editing softwares and I'm really proud of my work and final production but still appreciation and acknowledgement towards my team, we are able to complete it in time and professionally.
Then, after we had our EPK. We've got like less than a month to finish our very last audio project. I hurried my recording and stuff like that less than a week. Getting everything all nice and getting it all over and done with. Mixing the music... mixing and mixing again. I did my project all over again 6 times... and my friend adviced me to stop at no.6 because I've overmixed in a sense that I've got no direction musically. Therefore, I pressed on getting my reference tracks right, getting the tone right, getting the timing right, getting the music sound right. Mastered the mix but wasn't a great one that I'm proud of because it's a tough process and I'm not really good at it. So, I took my chances trying my best. Presented it on the first day of presentation. I was the first one... I was really nervous simply because it's my FINALS! I was afraid that I would be late for my presentation so I over-night at my friend's place instead. Couldn't sleep until the last 3 hours.
After that, I showed my case presented it really well as my senior commented it was a show of confidence in my presentation. I was sure of my procedures and steps into getting the tone I wanted. One senior said it was inspirational, lecturers said it was good and great. I was really excited and jumping for joy when it's all done. *relief*
Here comes the saddest part of my life journey with my batch of friends. All of them. Most got to leave for their home country, Indonesia, Malaysia, India. I felt that time passes really fast and hopefully I would get a chance to work with them again one day. I will never forget AEDF1008. Audio Gangsterz!
We had our farewell dinner... shisha session... beer session... it was all fun and we were laughing all the way... the hardest part is to bid farewell.
AEDF1008 'the best batch in SAE S'pore' We've set the standard and hopefully it would be continued on.
Now I'm heading back to Malaysia and will be back in S'pore for degree.
God bless.
